Nonthaburi Car Free Day 2015

Nonthaburi Car Free Day 2015

Everyone who share similar way of thinking that we ought to use personal car for daily commuting as less as possible is cordially invited to join the CAR FREE DAY event, of which an international motto is Into Town without My Car, for 2015 in Nonthaburi Province.  You are free to dress in whatever form you like (not naked, please!) and welcome to come to join the event in whatever means convenient to you.  You can walk, run, ride whatever bike you have, or jump on bus or any public transport available, to go to the event, except drive personal car, of course.

Join us in demanding the government to pay more attention to develop systems and infrastructures to facilitate non-motorised transport to connect with, or feed, the rail system. In case of Nonthaburi Province, it’s the Mass Rapid Transport (MRT)’s Purple Line which is due to begin its operation connecting the province and North-western suburb of Bangkok to the city centre in early 2016 and other lines that would follow.
